There are 2 general ways to dry wood, “Natural Drying” or “Mechanical Drying.” It might be a good way by “Natural Drying” definitely but causes some drawbacks during the process. For instance, it costs more time to dry, and less wood can be used due to the disadvantage of being out of shape easily. Therefore, the way of “Mechanical Drying” treatment is more widely used.

“Wood dried accompanied with classical music during the dry process” goes through the “Mechanical Drying” process while listening to classical music. Those wood are from a wood factory surrounded by forest in Kyushu Prefecture. To keep the essential oil and the wood cells in the best situation, the makers need to adjust humidity and temperature often during the process. By its delicate process, the wood has a superior function in antibacterial.

Sugi(Japanese cyder) has features of preventing viruses, bacteria, toxins, and other functions of “immunoglobulin A,” its ingredients can improve human immunity. The concept of using wood in the guest rooms means extending the energy of “the tree that once had life” and giving the space new energy, and creating a pleasant space.
