Matsumoto Castle is less than an hour away by car, Kamikochi can be reached in about 1 hour and 20 minutes, and the Snow Monkeys in approximately 2 hours. For those traveling by air, Haneda Airport can be reached in about 3 hours, and Chubu Centrair International Airport in roughly 3 hours and 30 minutes.
